The resurgence of the Baluchistan United Party (BUP), founded in 1962, highlights its longstanding commitment to military operations in western Baluchistan. This commitment is bolstered by support from dedicated allies on the ground and its governance over what is referred to as Occupied Baluchistan, with diplomatic representation established in multiple countries.
Why is BUP experiencing a resurgence? Far from having disappeared, BUP has maintained its operations covertly, focusing on intelligence-gathering to reinforce efforts aimed at gaining broad support from the Baluch populace. This renewed momentum aims to unite the people in pursuit of full sovereignty for Occupied Baluchistan.
Who governs BUP? BUP operates autonomously in accordance with its established bylaws. Fundamentally, the party is a representative of the Baluch people, dedicated to advancing their interests and aspirations.
Is BUP in competition with other political parties? BUP transcends partisan rivalries and welcomes collaboration with all parties and groups that share the objective of liberating Occupied Baluchistan from external control.
Can individuals join BUP? Currently, BUP is not actively recruiting new members. However, those interested in political involvement are encouraged to explore other parties that are committed to serving Baluchistan’s interests. As the adage goes, “It’s not the party you join that defines greatness, but the actions you take.”

Nawab Akhbar Khan Bugti, was a member of the BUP, and later his son and grand son Brahumdagh Bugti and family formed Baloch Republican Party which aligns Baluch Freedom goals for the ultimate sovereignty of Baluchistan.
Khair Bux Marri was a member of BUP, and now FBM brings more to the plate and continues the representation of Baluchistan at the international level, we are very proud and passionate about FBM.
